The
difference between the wise and the unwise, is that the wise knows what you see
today may not be what you'll see tomorrow.
There
are two possible reasons for that. First, what you see today will evolve and
become something different by tomorrow. Second, if the thing does not evolve
fast enough to have changed by tomorrow, your own perception of the thing will
have changed by then, and you'll be seeing something different.
On
the surface, America's secretary of energy, Rick Perry does not seem wise
enough to know this. It's the conclusion you'll reach when you have read the
article he wrote under the title: “The World Can Live Without Iranian Oil,” and
the subtitle: “The US energy boom will help the global supply meet demand.” It
was published on November 5, 2018 in the Wall Street Journal.
Like
the subtitle of the article says, Rick Perry believes that absent Iranian oil,
the US will “help supply meet demand.” But the key word here is “help,” which
means that US oil will not fill the entire gap created by Iran's exit; it will
only help do so to a limited degree.
Right
now, the world needs Iranian oil at least to the tune of 3 million barrels a
day. The best that America could do after several years of exploiting shale
oil, was to ramp up its production by 2 million barrels. Now, America produces
11 million barrels but continues to consume 20 million barrels each and every
day. And the difference is imported from the pool known as “world supply”.
Moreover,
two trends are developing at this time. The first is that the world economic
recovery is accelerating, which means that the demand for oil will steadily
increase as time passes. The second trend is that a double whammy has hit the
American shale oil patch. It is that the companies engaged in this sector have
drowned themselves in debt in the race to pump as much oil as they could when
it was not economical to do so.
Those
companies also discovered that the more they pump from a well, the costlier it
gets to extract another barrel from the same well. This means that unless the
industry stumbles on a breakthrough, these companies will reach a peak and be
forced to ramp down their production. And so, with increasing demand from the
world and a decreasing supply from an America that already imports half its
needs, Iran will again hold the ace card.
All
of this means that once again, the Americans looked at a static snapshot of the
existing condition, and passed judgment that will not hold as time moves on.
This condition can only be regarded as unwise; a state that has become a
permanent feature in the American decision-making process. It came about when
the American culture was infiltrated by Jews and was transformed by the
Judeo-Yiddish culture.
The
problem with that transformation is that the new condition forces the country's
political leaders to betray the oath they take to be faithful to the
constitution of the United States by serving their own people first and
foremost ... and do so, not with cheap talk, but with honest deeds. To see
this, all you need to do is go over Rick Perry's promises, and try to foresee
what it is they aim to achieve under false pretenses. The following is a
condensed version of what Perry has said:
“The new sanctions will hit Iran's energy sector hard. New
cross-border pipelines will help Mexico and Canada increase their supply to
America ... America's new energy bounty gives us leverage to hold Iran
accountable. Entities that flout our sanctions will face the full weight of US
economic power. Empowered by its new energy arsenal, the US will apply
relentless pressure on Tehran. The international community eagerly awaits the
participation of Iran”.
That
is, the American secretary of energy has now taken a public oath to hurt Iran's
energy sector by increasing the oil that America imports from Mexico and
Canada, and use this “bounty” as a potent arsenal to threaten Iran and
America's allies who will refuse to join America's “relentless” effort to bring
Iran to its knees.
Okay,
Mr. Rick Perry, the world heard you. But even your closest allies have pledged
to continue doing business with law-abiding Iran despite your unlawful threats.
So, who is it you're trying to benefit with a foolish adventure that has the
potential to escalate and become a criminal act?
America's
political elites will have to think hard before getting too involved at pleasing
their Jewish masters because what they believe they are seeing today will turn
out to be something different tomorrow.
