It is not a matter of being tone deaf or not knowing what
they are doing; it is a matter of knowing exactly what they are doing, but
doing it for a purpose that still remains obscure – or maybe it is no longer
that obscure. The editors of the New York Times did it again in the piece they
wrote under the title: “Four Horrific Killings” and the subtitle: “Can Israeli
and Palestinian Leaders End the Revenge Attacks?” It was published on July 8,
2014.
From the moment you start reading the editorial, you can
tell that they set out to distort the reality of what is known about the
situation by employing every insidious trick at their disposal to advance the
false image they created in their own mind, and decided to inflict on the
unguarded American readers. Look at this: “the brutal killings of four
teenagers – one Palestinian and three Israelis...”
The known fact being that only the killing of the
Palestinian was sadistic by its torture and brutality, the editors broke with
tradition and mentioned his name first before those of the Jews to make it
sound that they too suffered the same fate. NO, New York Times, NO. There is no
moral equivalence here. The responsible thing to do would have been to ask if
the Jews were armed, whether or not they had the chance to defend themselves,
and whether or not they started the fight.
The editors go on: “potentially igniting a conflict that
could be even more vicious than the intifadas of 1987 and 2000.” Well, well,
well, having no guns with which to defend themselves, no warplanes to deter the
Israeli military, no smart bombs to lob on sleeping families and no helicopter
gunships to keep the Jews at bay, intifada is the only tool left in the bare
hands of the Palestinians to defend themselves and their families against the
Israeli military, its smart bombs, its warplanes and helicopter gunships. And
those things calling themselves editors of the New York Times see the intifada
as a vicious act? Why don't they intifada themselves off this planet and keep
it clean and sane?
And they continue by asserting: “the kidnapping and murder
last month of three Israeli teenagers...” But they only suggest that “a
Palestinian teenager was found beaten and burned in the forest.” No snatching
of the child is mentioned here even though it is now an established fact, and
no torture or murder are mentioned even though they are established facts. So
the question: What are these things calling themselves editors doing? They are
talking to Americans, including American children. Are they telling them: “The
Jews among you are superior to the Palestinians but not you?” Or are they
telling them: “The Jews among you are superior to the Palestinians and to you
too?”
To continue with the analysis of the editorial, surely,
there are among the editors of the New York Times people old enough to remember
the early days of the occupation when the Palestinians were so docile that a
mother and her babies standing in front of their home in an effort to stop the
Israeli tanks from demolishing it before the hordes of Jews came to confiscate
the land – were labeled terrorists and the scum of the Earth because (it was
alleged) they sometimes threw stones at the tanks. And so, to show their
displeasure at this “disgusting” Arab tactic, the Jews of Israel routinely
chanted: “Death to Arabs.”
They were told never to do that again, especially when
foreign cameras were on the scene, and they stopped doing it. But they have now
revived the old habit, which the New York Times describes like this: some
Israelis gave in to their worst prejudices … chanting “death to the Arabs.” You
want to know what is wrong with this? It is that talking about the possibility
– just the possibility – that another intifada may follow, the editors reminded
the readers that the Palestinians did it before – and it was vicious. No such
reminder was undertaken this time when the Jews actually did it again; not
potentially done it but did it in reality. That's what is wrong with a bunch of
editors injecting moral syphilis into the heads, hearts and souls of their
readers.
The Arabs are not going to worry about that, the world is
not going to worry about that but the American people should worry because this
is the most effective and most evil way to raise a generation that will do what
pastors such as Mike Huckabee are telling their flocks; mainly that there is a
God after all, and he is the Jew among them. American kids should grow up
worshiping him and don't have to learn math or science because the Jew will look
after them in return for their acts of worship.
