They keep promising peace through strength but keep
delivering escalation through endless provocations.
Here is their latest prediction: “The next Middle East war,”
which is the title of an article that also came under the subtitle: “Hezbollah,
instructed by Iran , is
setting the stage for a new and bloodier conflict with Israel .” It was
written by Clifford D. May and published on July 4, 2017 in The Washington
Times.
The Jews – wherever they live on the globe – justify their
endless attempts to grab more Arab land from Israel 's
neighbors with the excuse that they need the land to use as buffer between Israel and the
enemies surrounding it. They argue that being too close to the enemy tempts the
latter to launch attacks on Israel .
And they conclude that when America
arms Israel
with more and better weapons, the enemy fears it and stops threatening it. But
that's not how the scenario has unfolded in the Middle
East where there have been more wars in the region since the advent
of the Jews than anywhere else on the planet.
What happened was that each time the Jews acquired a new
weapon from America ;
they felt strong enough to launch attacks on their neighbors and grab pieces of
their land. They held on to them for a while, but then lost them when the Arabs
acquired weapons that countered the Jewish acquisitions, and used those to
liberate what was taken from them. This is called the reality of arms race and
the escalation of conflict, not what the Jews call peace through strength.
The net result of all this has been that aside from two
unfinished businesses, the Arabs have succeeded in pushing the Jews back to
where they came from. What remains to be done, as far as the Arabs are
concerned, is the Palestinian owned West Bank
which will take time to liberate, and the Western part of the Syrian Golan
Heights, which is the region that Clifford May is discussing in his article.
The introduction by May of the Lebanese Hezbollah in the
discussion came about because of the complicated history surrounding that piece
of land. The Golan is Syrian territory situated near the borders of Lebanon and occupied Palestine ,
also known as Israel .
First, the Jews grabbed the Golan but were pushed out of its eastern part;
remaining only in the western part. They later attacked Lebanon and grabbed a chunk of its south, but
were pushed back except for a tiny plot that's adjacent to the Western Golan . Israel continues to hold on to the
Lebanese plot, claiming that it was Syrian territory. Hezbollah, which is the
defender of Lebanon ,
says otherwise, and wants that plot of land back in Lebanese hands.
Thus, it happened that the interests of both Syria and Lebanon have converged, which is
why they find themselves fighting on the same side. Furthermore, in a manner
similar to the Jews bragging about there being no daylight between them and the
Americans, the Syrian/Lebanese alliance made sure there was no daylight between
it and Iran which may itself be allied with Russia. This is how far and how
complicated things have become. If anything, they demonstrate how meaningless
the motto “peace through strength” has been.
Still, to make his points, Clifford May begins by quoting a
UN Security Council Resolution that calls for South Lebanon to be under the
military control of only the Lebanese government or the UN force. And so, he
complains that the UN failed to “Accomplish its mission.” Why? Because he says
Hezbollah is patrolling South Lebanon
protecting the country from Israeli military intrusions. He thus insinuates
that Hezbollah is neither a part of the UN force nor that of the Lebanese
government.
But guess what the Jewish pundit did next. You guessed it;
he shot himself in the foot trying to have it both ways. Look at this
amateurish performance: “Hezbollah's presence now extends well beyond Southern Lebanon . It is the most powerful faction in Lebanon 's
government.” Here it is in black and white. Clifford May first insinuates that
Hezbollah is not a part of the Lebanese government then says it is the most powerful
faction in Lebanon 's
government. That's a lawyer equipped with the reasoning of a juvenile.
Would you trust a lawyer of this caliber defending you? Most
likely not. But this guy and all those like him live high on the money wrested
from American taxpayers – not to defend Americans – but to defend Israel 's right
to also live high on the money wrested from the American taxpayers. How much
worse can things get?
