Tim Worstall wrote an article under the title: “Ilhan Omar's fascist behavior,” and had it published on March 1, 2021 in The Washington Examiner.
As long as he does not
badmouth people behind their backs, Worstall has the right to think and
publicly express anything he wants. That much goes without saying, and without
being criticized for. But when he expresses what he thinks, he becomes an open
book that anyone can read. And those who do, could very well discover that
everything is not properly connected inside his brain.
You see, my friend, the
brain functions because it is made of synapses that dialogue with each other by
firing electrochemical signals. When something goes wrong with this mechanism,
it is perfectly appropriate to speak of a disconnect at the nexus between the
synapses of the brain. And the way you can tell that someone is suffering from
such condition, is when he exhibits signs of a disconnect while performing
mental tasks that require even a moderate level of difficulty. Thus, you can
say that a disconnected behavior is symptom reflecting failure at the nexus at
the synapses.
As it happens, this is
what Tim Worstall is exhibiting in the article he wrote to attack Ilhan Omar.
Simply put, his problem can be described as follows: Worstall is trying to
explain one thing but fails to show the nexus, if any exists, that connects
what he is saying with the object he’s talking about. And so, like the diseased
brain whose synapses fail to connect, Tim Worstall's presentation suffers from
the gap that separates his words from the object that’s under discussion.
Because this makes him look like braindead, we wonder if lobotomy can fix him.
Well, the doctors who will get into his brain will be the ones to make that
determination.
Tim Worstall says he is
unhappy about Ilhan Omar who suggested that the filibuster must be abolished.
Well, if someone wants to criticize Omar's stance, there is no way he can talk
about the filibuster without talking about the American Civil War, the movement
to abolish slavery, and the historical use of the filibuster to delay ending
slavery. But that's not what Worstall has done. Instead, he began to talk about
Salazar's fascism in Portugal, a tiny country that once had a revolution of its
own, thousands of miles away from America’s shore.
Worstall went on to talk
about the evil use of raw power … and then, ipso facto, attributed such
sentiment to Ilhan Omar without hinting, let alone showing, that there is a
nexus between what she said, and the sin he is accusing her of committing. In
fact, that’s the disconnect in his behavior which indicates failure of the
firing mechanism regulating the dialogue between his synapses. It is a serious
mental disease.
The reality is that
nothing which may be considered fascist, is reflected in what Ilhan Omar has
said. On the contrary, adding her voice to the thousands upon thousands of
noted personalities who called for the abolition of the filibuster over the
decades, makes her a true democrat that wants to prevent those like Strom
Thurmond from standing in the way of America passing civilized laws.
The gap detected between
the nonsense that Worstall is spewing about Omar and her impeccable behavior, reinforces
the view that the nexus between his synapses has been compromised. Of course,
no one can tell how serious his impairment has become till the doctors
performing the lobotomy, get inside his head and see for themselves. However,
we can make a preliminary assessment by studying some of the passages in his
article. Here is one that looks pregnant with information aching to burst out:
“Democracy and the rule of
law are ultimately mutually dependent upon one another. We place limits on what
the state may do or what we may vote for. At least without an overwhelming
majority of us agreeing that certain extraordinary actions are necessary. To
toss these foundational principles out of the window just because a mere
political desire is thwarted? That's a very dangerous precedent”.
Bear in mind that Ilhan
Omar wants the fate of the bills making their way through the Senate, to be
decided by the majority of Senators who will vote them up or down. Also, bear
in mind that the filibuster gives to a single Senator, the power to freeze or
kill any bill, thus thwart the will of the entire Senate, and by implication
that of the House of Representative, in addition to depriving the President
from exercising his prerogative to sign or veto the bill. You can now see that
in addition to an impaired nexus, Tim Worstall has turned reality upside down
in the above passage. Look at it again, and you'll note that he is attributing
to Omar the fascism he has himself embraced, and that Strom Thurmond has
advocated all his life to his dying days.
So we ask, what kind of
disease might have caused more damage to Worstall’s brain than originally
thought, causing him, in addition, to turn reality upside-down?
Well, there can only be one answer to that question. It must be that Worstall’s brain fluid has been contaminated by the indoctrination of a demonic kind of cult to which he secretly belongs. The result is that his brain is now swimming in Satan’s rosewater. It is not the kind you want to have in your bathroom cabinet.
