Don Feder says he is not happy because a gloomy reality is advancing against the West with a high birth rate and a sword. It is heralding a doomsday that will become a reality at some point during this century when it’ll happen that more Muslims will celebrate Ramadan than Christians will celebrate Christmas.
So, my friend, imagine a Hollywoodish kind of crazed
director trying to playout that scene and capture its essence on celluloid. He
shows a burka-wearing Muslim woman giving birth to a baby. While Planet Earth appears
to be sucked into a black hole, the woman is midwifed by a Christian and a
Muslim elders. The first cries out: “Push the baby back in;” the second cries
out: “Pull the baby all the way out”.
A digital counter hanging on the wall and labelled
Christian, displays the number 4 billion. Another counter, labelled Muslim,
also displays the number 4 billion. As the baby is at times pulled out, and at
times pushed in, the planet is seen approaching the black hole or moving away
from it. Simultaneous to that, the Muslim clock shows the tendency to alternate
between 4 billion and 4,000,000,001 while flashing the word “DOOM” depending on the position of
the baby.
A scene like that must have played in the head of Don
Feder when he wrote the article that came under the title: “Islam poised to
become the world’s largest religion,” and the subtitle: “It advances with the
cradle and the sword.” The article was published on January 1, 2023 in The
Washington Times.
Relying on demographics, also on current and projected
statistics, Don Feder makes a convincing case that within a few decades, Planet
Earth will be populated by more Muslims than Christians. But he goes on to say
that this will mean the association between Christianity and Western
Civilization will dissolve and fade away forever.
Where Don Feder fails to make a case, is where he relies
on demagoguery to warn that this will be the day Planet Earth will enter its
doom phase and perish. Trying hard to make a case that does not hold together,
Feder cites a ton of false information — the kind that was injected into the
marketplace of ideas over the decades by people whose preoccupation was to serve
their own interest.
One of the most overstated falsehoods happens to be what
Don Feder says is unfolding in Egypt at this time. While the distortion of
reality causing the falsehood, is not as exaggerated as what a Human Rights
watcher once said — namely that the Christians of Egypt don’t know what’s good
for them because they are not taking up arms and fighting — Feder wrote the
following: “While
Muslims in the West demand tolerance, Christians rarely get it under Islam. In
Egypt, Coptic churches are bombed, congregants shot, and girls kidnapped and
forced to convert”.
It is a blatant lie to say that Christians rarely get tolerance under
Islam. To see the extent of the distortion that’s in this quote, we go back a
few decades to when the falsehood originated. The first leader to use Muslim
extremism to fight an enemy, was the American President Ronald Reagan. It
happened when he called on Pakistani and Afghani young men to rev up their
religious zeal and fight the “godless” Soviets that had invaded Afghanistan.
Reagan paid and armed these youngsters not realizing that when done with the
Soviets, they were not going to shed their newly acquired religious zeal nor disappear.
Instead of vanishing, having defeated the Soviet Union,
the Muslim youngsters began to think in terms of building their own empire by
taking down the West. They tried to persuade the existing Muslim countries to
join them, but none did. And so, the youngsters concluded that their priority
will have to be the conquest of the Muslim countries before going against the
West. The most important country to go against was Egypt. With generous help
from the Jewish and Western elements who wished to see Egypt ruined, the young
Muslims bombed some churches and shot congregants in the attempt to spark a ruinous
civil war — which they failed to do. As to kidnapping Christian girls and
forcing them to convert, it turned out to be false rumors that never happened.
What is noteworthy in all of this, however, is that while
the foreign youngsters – who were paid and armed by the Jews and the Americans
to start a civil war in Egypt – were engaged in criminal activities, the Muslim
population of Egypt came out by the thousands, and formed a human chain around
the churches and their Christians congregants to protect them against the
foreign criminals.
To make one final push at cementing his demagoguery in
the mind of the readers, Don Feder asked the question: “What will a world dominated by Islam look
like?” and he answered as follows:
Under Islam, adulterers are stoned to death and converts to other faiths
are murdered. To various degrees, Muslims support Sharia law in Russia,
Nigeria, France and the United Kingdom. Despite it being called a religion of
peace, a small percentage of Muslims say that suicide bombing is justified when
defending the community.
Well, like everywhere else, there are crazies in Islam that hold all
kinds of views. The important thing, however, is that no extreme law has ever
been enacted in any established Muslim nation. As to what’s horrible about “suicide
bombing,” it is that it sounds horrible. But it is no different from the
Japanese “kamikaze” or the English “self-sacrifice to protect others.” For example,
those on 9/11 who ditched the plane that was on its way to the Pentagon, are
called heroes.
Perhaps tongue-in-cheek, Feder tells what happens when
you insult a Christian, a Jew and a Muslim. And boy, he came short when telling
about the Jew who, in response, would only write a letter to the editor of a
large newspaper.
Like hell, that’s only what the Jew will do.
