They shed tears of joy talking about it

The editors of the Weekly Standard have decided to tell their readers that Jewish rank and file, and perhaps some of their leaders too, shed tears when talking about antisemitism in Europe.

They wrote that the inhabitants of that continent are talking about the reasons why they suddenly turned against their Jewish neighbors; a reality the Jews have been experiencing for a while now. As well, the editors of the Standard listed the anti-Jewish acts, and the rhetoric that have unfolded recently on that continent.

The thing the editors have neglected to do, however, is to tell what the Jews are doing, or what they can do or should do to reverse that trend. You are perplexed as to why they remain silent on this matter; and wonder if there will be some kind of explanation coming from them or from someone else.

The editorial they wrote came under the title: “The Varieties of European Antisemitism” and the subtitle: “It's hard to pigeonhole something so disparate.” It was published on April 3, 2018 in the Weekly Standard. The editors make it clear that the trend is widespread in Europe, and they discuss in some detail the incidents that took place in the United Kingdom, France, Poland and Hungary.

And then unexpectedly, an explanation to the puzzle you wondered about came the next day. That's when you stumbled on the article that came under the title: “The sound of debate in Austria,” written by Daniel Pipes and published on April 4, 2018 in The Washington Times. It is that Daniel Pipes gives a long explanation as to why he and those like him love what is happening in Europe. He says they love the return of the Nazi parties because they count on them to oppose the Islamization of Europe.

And that, my friend, is when you put two and two together. You conclude that the Jewish tears which the editors of the Weekly Standard talked about earlier were not tears of sorrow but tears of joy. This is what Daniel Pipes –– who says he is the foremost authority on the Islamization of Europe –– wants the readers to know. Not only that, he also says he discovered that a local resident who is no less an authority than himself, happens to agree with him. That gentleman is, “The 89-year-old Jewish artist Arik Brauer who personally witnessed the 1938 Anschluss,” says Daniel Pipes.

But why would the Jewish leaders be happy with the return of the Nazis all over Europe? Rake your brains all you want, but there is only one answer to that question – and it isn't a very complicated one. The reason is that the Europeans are capable of committing holocausts and pogroms. This is the lucrative business that the Jewish leaders call “treasure trove,” and milk like a cash cow decade after decade. When they contrast this reality with that of the Arabs who do not commit holocausts or pogroms, the Jewish leaders choose the pot of gold at the end of the Nazi rainbow, over the dull peace and no compensation that sit at the end of the Arab rainbow.

But what about the point that Daniel Pipes makes to the effect that he roots for the Nazis because he sees them oppose the Islamization of Europe, and not because he sees riches accruing to him and his descendents when those Nazis will do a 180 and hit the Jews as hard as the Europeans have been doing for centuries?

Well, the way to answer that question is to juxtapose what the editors of the Weekly Standard say they discovered, and what Daniel Pipes says he witnessed while visiting Europe. Here is what the editors have said:

“The frightening thing about European antisemitism is that the ancient bigotry now issues from disparate social echelons”.

And here is what Daniel Pipes has said:

“As someone who sees Islamization as the key issue in the West's future, I immersed myself in discussions about the government fulfilling its anti-Islamist promises. No one I spoke with showed much interest in the issue. Instead, I discovered another issue generates passions; that would be the inclusion in the government of the FPO whose roots lie in the far-right swamp of German nationalism. This also has Europe-wide importance because it likely foreshadows future disputes over conservatives allying with populists in countries like France, Germany and Sweden”.

It is obvious that no ordinary people in America or Europe are preoccupied with the idea of the continent becoming Muslim.

Whereas the editors of the Weekly Standard say they are preoccupied with the rise of Nazism in Europe, Daniel Pipes and his European aging buddy (both Jewish leaders) say they love the phenomenon.

What credible explanation is there but that the Jewish leaders who stand to gain from pogroms and holocausts root for the Nazis whose activities will enrich them?
