Who would have thought only a few years ago that stalwarts
of the Jewish lobby would someday be lobbying on behalf of Saudi Arabia
and the other Arab states? They are doing it now, not because they were asked
or because they were paid to do it, but because it was the way to hide behind
the Arabs and serve the interests of Israel .
That's the impression you come out with when you read the
article that came under the title: “The Middle East Won't Miss Obama” and the
subtitle: “Many in the region, frustrated by Iran 's empowerment, welcome
President Donald Trump.” It was written by Hillel Fradkin and Lewis Libby, and
was published on December 11, 2016 in the Wall Street Journal.
It happened that moments after the conclusion of the talks
which led to the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, the Jewish propaganda
machine in America and around the world started to reassure the Jewish
rank-and-file that the ease with which the Egyptians smashed through Israel's
defensive line known as Bar Lev, and chased the Israeli army out of the Sinai,
does not mean that Israel is helpless.
The message was that Israel had the “West” defending it.
In addition, it had non-Arabic Muslim neighbors (Turkey
and Iran )
standing by it. And there was Germany
that pledged to give Israel
submarines with which to deter the Arabs from being tempted to overwhelm Israel 's
defenses again. The subtle hint in this message was that the submarines will
carry nuclear missiles.
Parallel to this line of misinformation, ran a line of
disinformation painting the Arabs as the worse thing on the planet. That's
because they are Muslims who – unlike the Turks and the Iranians – refuse to
modernize or reform, said the Jewish propaganda. Also, they are the “Arab core”
in whose language the Koran is written. This makes them feel superior to the
other Muslims who must learn Arabic to pray because Muslim prayers must not be
translated into another language. This makes the non-Arab Muslims resent the
Arabs, something that Israel
and its “Western” allies are smart enough to exploit.
In fact, the Jewish propaganda machine used the American
media like a sledge hammer to beat up on the Arabs and their culture. It
concentrated on Saudi Arabia
where women are usually covered from head to toe, where they are not allowed to
drive, and where they must have a chaperon accompany them when traveling. The
Jews conveyed the notion that the Saudis are bad and all Arabs are like them.
They also conveyed the notion that the Jews are good and the Americans are like
them.
The conclusion therefore was that the Arabs and the
Americans are no more compatible than the Saudis and the Jews can ever be. The
message to America was
clear: Despite the peace treaty between Egypt
and Israel , don't think of
getting close to the Arabs, especially Saudi Arabia .
Now my friend, look how things were refashioned to fit
today's situation. Fradkin and Libby of the Hudson Institute (notorious for its
extremist views,) set out to describe what they say happened at a gathering
held by the Policy Center of the United Arab Emirates, and the Atlantic Council
of the United States of America.
Here is a sample of how the two authors developed their
presentation: “Many speakers returned again and again to the threat Iran had become
and the failure of President Obama's policies to deal with this threat.” And
here is what they say the Arabs expect from the new American President: “That
he will reverse Obama's disengagement from the region; and that he will
distinguish between America 's
enemies and its friends”.
The truth is that this is nowhere near what the Arabs have
been saying. It is, however, the refrain that the Jews have been repeating
interminably. We must, therefore, deduce that the presentation of our two writers
is nothing but a piece of self-serving Jewish quackery.
Now that the Jews hid behind the Arabs to ask America to do what is good for Israel , they
feared they may have embellished the image of the Arabs in the eyes of
Americans. And so they set out to restore the Arab image they worked so hard
over the decades to disfigure and make it look as ugly as they can. Here is
what Hillel Fradkin and Lewis Libby did in that regard:
“The Arabs look to hardheaded American interests to
outweigh, not disregard, cultural and political differences … To confront worse
enemies, America
must work with countries that do not share, and sometimes violate, our values”.
