Derek Harvey wrote an article which demonstrates how a brain
that's installed upside-down inside the skull actually functions. He is
advancing a thesis that basically goes as follows:
[George W. Bush messed up by going into Iraq in the first place, and by
agreeing to implement the military and strategic missteps that kept us in the
quagmire more than necessary … but you know what? If Barack Obama and Hillary
Clinton had doubled down on the W's idiocies by doing more of the same, the
mistakes of the W would not have been amplified but would have been rectified.
This is why the W is to be praised whereas the Obama/Clinton team is to be
condemned.]
You find this hard to believe, don't you? Well, check it out
for yourself. Go to the August 15, 2015 edition of the online Weekly Standard,
and look for an article that was written by Derek Harvey under the title:
“Obama and Hillary, Not Jeb, Responsible for Iraq Today.” You'll find that he
gives credit to Jeb Bush for “acknowledging the flawed intelligence that led us
into war” without pointing a finger at those responsible for the flawed
intelligence. Neat, huh?
But that's not even the whole story because Harvey goes on
to point the finger at Obama and Clinton for the mess that the region is in
today because – get this now – “Obama refused to accept an extension [to US
military presence in Iraq] unless it was agreed to by the Iraqi parliament
[together with] the immunity requirements as framed by the administration …
even though Prime Minister Maliki was willing to guarantee legal protection for
U.S. soldiers on his own authority.”
Did you get that? Derek Harvey says that the W is okay for
starting by ignorant mistake a war that broke America 's
back, whereas Obama is not okay for refusing to double down on the W's mistake
– which he could have done by tethering America 's fate to the dictatorial
powers of one, Maliki. Well, my friend, tell me this: do you now accept this
view as being solid proof that Derek Harvey's brain is installed upside down
inside his skull?
You might still argue that his physical brain is not
installed upside down but that his vision of reality is so skewed, it is turned
upside down … which is another way of saying that the writer's problem is not
physical as much as it is psychological. To buttress your argument, you might
wish to point at his neglect to name those responsible for the flawed
intelligence. Well, that's a point of view that should be respected … at least
for now.
But in this case: Who were the people responsible for the
flawed intelligence? There is only one response to that, and it is
unmistakable: They were the ones who beat the drums of war before there was a
war or a reason to have one. They were the people who always send someone to war
without a plan B or an exit strategy; attempting each time to turn the war into
a perpetual one.
These are the people who called for the debaathification of Iraq so as to
maintain it in a destabilized condition at perpetuity, and possibly lead to its
breakup along sectarian lines. They are the ones whose calamitous conduct never
stopped despite the punishment that humanity kept inflicting on them throughout
time, everywhere they went, by everyone they met.
They are the Jews who fabricated false intelligence, and
relied on the trust that their “friends” had placed (actually misplaced) in
them to mislead the Germans, the Americans and through them NATO, into
believing that they and the world were facing an existential threat of the
mushroom cloud variety.
And the suggestion was there all along to the effect that
the way to remove that threat was to invade Iraq and change Saddam's regime;
one that was adept at maintaining both the unity and stability of the Iraqi
nation … also at checking Iran's growing power and influence. The W and his
Jewish advisers took that away, and the region descended into chaos.
In fact, Derek Harvey says as much inadvertently as he tries
to take credit for something his side did not do but says could have done. He
does that by trying to discredit Obama's side, but guess what – he shoots
himself in the foot doing it. Look how he does it: “I was there. I saw the
worst of our Iraq
strategy and the best. During the surge, which undoubtedly saved Iraq
from chaos...”
Wow! Iraq
was headed for chaos, he says. Well, guess what – this is the chaos that's
there now. And it is George W. Bush, not Obama or Clinton, that caused it when
he listened to the Jews.
