Here we go again; the eunuch of Zion feels impotent yet again and he asks Uncle Sam for help to be manly once more, but the uncle can do very little to help, except to put together some theatrics. All he can do, in fact, is make the eunuch believe he appears to be potent again in the eyes of the world; the reality being that the eunuch is too far gone down the hill of impotence to ever again climb the mountain top of virility.
What happened when the request came was that the uncle dispatched Leon the sex therapist to look for a way to stroke the ego of the eunuch; to make him believe he is stiff again and make him feel ripe to rape his intended victims again and again. In turn, the therapist called on someone to assist him at doing the job. He called on someone new this time because the previous assistant who went by the name of Sanger of the Times had lost the aura and was believable no more. It is that these people very quickly lose credibility, the reason why they are often replaced by a new assistant. Thus, Leon the therapist called on Ignatius -- who happens to enjoy a good reputation at the moment -- to assist him at completing this new task before he too will have lost credibility and faded into the night.
Thus, on the third day of February in the year 2012 of the new era, David Ignatius who has a sterling reputation, published an article in the Washington Post under the title: “Is Israel preparing to attack Iran?” When you read the article, you realize that it was written to impress someone of something. But who did it intend to impress and of what did it intend to impress? Well, you know enough about the history pertaining to this game to understand that the Iranians will not shake in their boots as a result of this fantasy, and neither will any of the neighbors. Who then will take notice and be impressed?
You rake your brains looking for an answer and find a number of points that you put together and construct the following scenario. Netanyahu can no longer continue to steal Palestinian land or maintain the status quo in the hope that something will happen which will give Israel the chance to resume the looting of Palestine. What is left for him to do is end the occupation and get out of there. He knows that if and when he does that, Israel will see come to the positive side of its ledger a shower of Arab gestures of goodwill because this is what they promised and he knows that their word is their bond. But he reckons that this will not be sufficient to immediately offset what will have gone to the negative side of the ledger. And it was this assessment that prompted him to ask for Leon's help at producing the piece of theatrics we now see unfold.
How will it all work out? Well, it was known for decades that peace could not come to Palestine as long as Israel was financed by wealthy Jews from around the world – especially America -- and maintained as a base out of which to conduct the most horrible of criminal transactions you can imagine such as the worldwide traffic in weapons, in body parts, in child prostitution, in terrorist activities and the like. These people were the ones who insisted on stealing Palestinian lands and the ones who made the maintenance of the policy a condition for their continued assistance.
Knowing that peace will end all this nonsense, Netanyahu reasoned that while cooperating with the Arab neighbors will in the long run more than offset the loss from those sources, Israel will need to find a way to bridge the gap between now and then. But get help from where? It used to be -- in the old days -- that the Israelis would promise to temporarily stop butchering unarmed Palestinians in return for a few billion dollars from America, and they would get the money after which they would resume the butchery and asked for more money. But this practice came to an end when America was depleted of its capacity to show unlimited largess.
Thus, the new strategy by Netanyahu and Company will have to aim at soliciting financial donations from Jews and non-Jews worldwide who may be sympathetic to Israel and to the other Jewish causes. The strategy will also have to aim at keeping the Israelis from emigrating out of the country as well as encouraging the Jews who live everywhere else in the world to immigrate into Israel and to bring money with them if they have any. Therefore, it is safe to say that these are the people whom Netanyahu is trying to impress, and this is the message he is trying to impress them with.
The way to accomplish all this is to tell them that Zion is not the eunuch he appears to be but the potent rapist that he can be whenever he wants to be. It is just that Uncle Sam has requested that he tucks his tool in his pants for now and wait for another time before going on a new rampage against the innocent and the defenseless.
Netanyahu may believe in this scenario but no one else outside his entourage will. Too bad, however, that someone as good as David Ignatius will stand to lose his credibility just because he tried to help the eunuch of Zion feel potent again.
