Rising to the Proverbial thirty thousand Feet

When a community finds itself in the rut intellectually, suggestions begin to float about the need to “think outside the box” or to “rise thirty thousand feet above” the current debate so as to see both the “forest and the trees” at the same time from that height.

It is too bad, however, that all things concerning Jewish matters instantly ossify into the rut they quickly become. It's because the Jews never allow the debate to go outside the box or rise thirty thousand feet up. They never determine the size of the forest or discern the nature of the trees it is made of. They remain paralyzed; they even paralyze everything that happens to wander near them.

The American foreign policy apparatus used to be a vibrant community for which the world had great respect. And then the Jewish fifth column infiltrated it and began the process of ossify it. Today, everywhere you look in the world, you see the effect of an American foreign policy that's as lively as the bones of a dinosaur dead for millions of years.

This is especially true in the Middle East where the Jews stick, not only to a paralyzed status quo, but a paralyzed status quo ante that reaches nearly four thousand years into the past. In addition, the Jews believe in a false prophesy assuring them that God will bail them no matter how badly they screw-up trying to maim, kill and rob those whom they meet.

With this argument under their belt, the Jews were able to convince the Americans to do the maiming, killing and robbing on their behalf. In return for the favor, the Americans were promised that they will get a share of the spoils when God will reward the Jews and their friends for doing a thorough job maiming, killing and robbing those who cannot defend themselves.

This is the situation today; one that will be there tomorrow and long after that if the Jews do not start thinking outside the box, and if the Americans will continue to let the Jews do the thinking for them. You can get a sense of all this when you read the article that came under the title: “Trump's Middle-East Mirage,” written by Richard Haass, and published on February 11, 2020 on the website of Project Syndicate.

The following are the fossilized remains of the kind of thinking that has prevented the Jews and the Americans from making progress in the Middle East:

“Serial rejection of peace proposals has not served the Palestinians well. Nor has the passage of time. Israel has thrived; the Palestinians have not. What is on offer today is much less than what was on offer in the past. The lesson is that what is imperfect can become more imperfect”.

There are six assertions in that passage in need of parsing. First, had the Palestinians accepted any of the proposals offered to them, they would have given their country of Palestine to the Jews. And this would have been far worse than living under the current condition, however harsh it may be.

Second, the passage of time has done nothing to change the situation on the ground for the West Bank Palestinians. The occupation is still there whatever the Israeli military does or fails to do, and whatever America recognizes as being Israeli, or is not. As to Gaza, the Israeli army was kicked out of there by Hamas but the maritime and air blockades continue. Still, this should count as progress for the Palestinians.

In addition to all this, much has changed everywhere else in the Middle East; changes that have a direct bearing on the Palestine issue. To understand what's going on, requires that we think outside the box or that we look at things from thirty thousand feet up. This is discussed in more detail below.

Third, as to Israel thriving, this is absolutely inconsequential because the Jews have been thriving throughout the world even before the establishment of Israel. What happened after 1948 was that they transferred some of their wealth and many of their so-called people to Israel. Transferring wealth from one place to another, whether it was legitimately earned or ill-gotten, cannot be considered thriving.

Fourth, with regard to the Palestinians not thriving; it is true that they are not thriving under occupation which reflects, not on them, but on the savages that maintain the occupation. This view is reinforced by the reality that the Palestinians are thriving everywhere else in the world; places where they live as free people. And this is a reality for which they must be admired.

Fifth and Sixth: To warn the Palestinians that what's on offer today is less than yesterday's, and will get even lesser tomorrow, is to admit that the Jews always had their eye on the whole enchilada, and were negotiating in bad faith. These being the prevailing circumstances, the Palestinians did well to goad the Jews into pushing their criminal activities to the extreme. This is how you smoke out the hardened criminals, and get them to show the full extent of the horrors they are committing.

As to the changes which are happening everywhere in the Middle East and have a bearing on the Palestine issue –– to think outside the box or to look at the situation from thirty thousand feet up, reveals that while the Jews have conned the Americans into believing they were protecting them, the truth has always been the exact opposite.

In fact, while America kept arming Israel with increasingly more modern and more expensive weapons, the neighbors have outmatched Israel to the point that it has finally admitted it cannot defend itself, and needs America to remain in the Middle East on a permanent basis to defend it.

This admission may not represent a win for the Palestinians, but does represent the deterrence that is keeping Israel in check. It also teaches America a valuable lesson about those who thrive by flattering the simpletons who are in charge of managing other peoples’ money (OPM).
