The Story of the Monkey and the Elephant

It's been many decades but I still remember some of the movie scenes that used to delight me as a preteen. There was a time when Tarzan movies were my favorites, the monkey in them my front-runner, and the one scene I kept recalling because I could never forget it.

It's a scene in which Tarzan was absent for some reason, and the monkey took temporary charge of the jungle affairs. In the face of pending tragedy, the monkey whose name was Cheetah, guided the elephant to do what was necessary to save Jane or a village or something to that effect. I must say I used to recall this scene randomly for decades. But when I got interested in politics, I started recalling it every time I encountered an event involving the relationship between the Jews and America.

What brought the scene to mind this time is an article that came under the title: “How the Saudis Can Promote Moderate Islam” and the subtitle: “Riyadh's new leaders may be amenable to modestly scaling back the country's exporting of Salafism.” It was written by Max Singer and published on August 4, 2017 in the Wall Street Journal.

After several paragraphs of monkeying with the parts of history he mutilated, Max Singer pronounced his verdict: “If the U.S. could convince the Saudis to keep their cash out of Indonesia and India, it would go a long way toward assuring eventual victory for moderate Islam.” What I can say about this idea is that Tarzan's monkey had better luck with its ideas than Max Singer will have with his plan. That's because the plan was plucked from thin air, is totally meaningless, and has no reason to be.

Here are some points to remember about the history of the Middle East. Despite Sykes-Picot, which happened at the start of the twentieth century, the Arabs and the Muslims maintained good relation with the West. Things began to sour when large scale illegal immigration brought armed Jewish terrorists into Palestine shortly thereafter. This is when the Muslim Brotherhood formed in Egypt, vowing to do what's necessary to halt the Jewish rampage next door.

A generation later, it occurred to the Palestinians who were losing their properties to Jewish aliens, that the way to stop these people from looting even more was for the Arab governments to recognize the role that the Western nations were playing in the ongoing tragedy, and adopt a hardline against them. That's when their cause started to coincide with that of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Further to the East on the Asian Continent, the Cold War had brought the Americans to fear what the Soviet Union might do to disrupt the flow of oil from the Persian Gulf to world markets. To prevent this from happening, the Americans were prepared to do anything to install and/or cultivate friendly governments in the countries surrounding the Gulf. This doctrine made them topple a legitimate government in Iran, replacing it with a puppet regime that took instructions from them. In so doing, they infuriated the people of Iran against the West.

With a Sunni group headed by the Muslim Brotherhood; with an Iran that is Shia Muslim, it began to look like all of Islam had a beef against the West. However, despite the periodic Israeli assaults on the Palestinians and Lebanese, and despite the random Israeli attacks on scientific and technological installations in Iraq and Syria, there was never a mixing of the Muslim attitude toward the West with the views that the Arabs held regarding their disputes with Israel.

But then something big happened. The Soviet Union disintegrated, and the Jewish propaganda machine invented the oxymoron it labeled Judeo-Christian. Absent a Communist World to hate, the Jews incited the Christians to hate Islam, and made sure the Muslims understood that Christians and Jews were one in the same way that America and Israel were one and the same.

The world became a powder keg waiting for a spark to detonate it. Sure enough, the spark came on September 11, 2001. In response to this event, America went into Afghanistan, a place where the Soviet Union had a bad experience. Two years later America put its military under the command of Holocaust psychos who went into Iraq, made a mess of it and later made a mess of Syria too.

Seeing that their governments were doing nothing to protect them or protect their religion against the Jews or the Christians, Muslim kids took matters in their own hands and declared war on the West. This is how Muslim kids got radicalized in contradiction to the Max Singer assertions. It happened because the Jews made it happen not because of Wahhabism or Salafism or the actions of an Arab or Muslim government.

The good news is that the Jewish scheme ran its course without sparking an all out religious war between Christianity and Islam. So now, the same Jews are trying to concoct a new scheme. Given that the economic center of gravity is shifting to East Asia, they want to pull a fast one in that region but don't know what form it will take. What they dislike, however, is that the Muslims are already there in force. And so the Jews developed the desire to elbow their way into the region, and have a say on what goes on in there.

They ran to America, and like the monkey in the Tarzan movie, they told it what to do to help them get there. In fact, that's what the Max Singer article is about. It instructs America to try convincing Saudi Arabia to reduce or sever its ties with the 400 million Muslims who live in India and Indonesia.

But how do you know this is a diabolic scheme? That's easy to determine; just look at the way the scheme is structured. It's an example that elicits the saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

First, Max Singer says that the US must tell the Saudis they should stop paying for imams or mosques in Indonesia and India. He then says radicalization has not happened and unlikely to happen in those places because moderate Islam is in charge and the culture will not let radicalization happen.

So then, why tell the Saudis to get out? The Jews want the Saudis out for them to get in. When this happens, their propaganda machine will have an easier time messing South Asia the way it did the Middle East. It is the Jewish calling, and they itch to answer it.

And that's diabolic enough.
